    The location of the hotel was favourable, down to the main shopping strip. Further, it was next to Whale Watch as well as the water front. The room was relaxing and stunning with tea, lounge chairs, a nice bathroom.

    More pros than cons, but still.

    The location was unbeatable, with easy access to the beach and great restaurants within walking distance. The spa bath was a good touch, luring us into relaxation each evening.

    Staff responsiveness could improve. During check-in, the service felt a bit rushed, which left us disoriented about local recommendations.

    Neat and modern place with outstandingly accommodating and really friendly staff from receptionist wanting to close. The breakfasts via voucher at the Encounter Cafe next door. Fantastic, stunning location in the shopping area. 10 km away from Kaikoura airport. Great choice for trip.

    Beautifully decorated and brand-new rooms are accompanied by excellent service. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, a 10-15 minute walk from Whale Watch Kaikoura.

    My best decision yet!

    Staying here was a fantastic choice! The two-bedroom apartment was clean and spacious, allowing ample space for our group. The location, right across the beach, was perfect for morning walks. Breakfast next door was a treat. With attentive hosts and local tips, this stay was nice and enjoyable. I can't wait to visit again!

    Dining options were ace! I savored some fresh local meats nearby that rocked my taste buds. The Premium King Room had an unbeatable view, and Sue at the front desk.

    We noticed a musty damp odor upon our return, having left the air conditioning going when we went out for a couple of hours. It seemed to come from the bathroom. Just a little reminder that sometimes, appearances can be deceiving.

    Couple's Quiet Retreat

    We had the pleasure of staying in a spacious ocean view room. The deep spa bath was a highlight after our long day and the view from the balcony was just fine!

    It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly, it was worth it.
